Skate Park Near YMCA Needed
To the editor:
I am 15 and I have a lot of friends who are skaters and they all talk about wanting a skate park closer to home, so I feel that a skate park by the YMCA is a good idea.
The skate park would keep people from skating where they are not supposed to be, such as the library, parking garages, etc. It would give skaters a different place to hang out after school, rather than out on the streets where they could be getting in trouble.
