Common Courtesy Lacking on Buses
To the editor:
I regularly take the bus to get around Reston. What happened to common courtesy?
People are in such a hurry that they don't allow those getting off the bus before they rush to get on. I see it frequently on my trips on the bus. Some people may take a little bit of time due to their age or health to get on or off the bus or they may have a few packages to get together before they get off the bus.
If you notice someone at the top step that is ready to get off, one needs to be patient to let the person off before one gets on the bus.
