Park Should be Built |

To the editor:

| The Nov. 15 letter to the editor titled "Skate Park Senseless
in Current Economy," belittles the small number of "mostly
male" Reston youth who will enjoy the skate park. |
| The attention of the writer is directed to an article on
Page 20 of the same paper of the same date. It is titled "Reston
Girl Takes 2nd at Skate Park Contest." This is a national
contest which was held in New Jersey. |
| If Reston can afford this facility, then it should be built.
Our children should be provided the with best facilities to
enjoy while living in this beautiful area. Isn't this what
life is all about? |
