Voters Were Right; Editor Misses the Point
To the editor:
I was intrigued to see you use the same tunnel vision response (Our Town, Dec. 20) to the defeat of the sales tax that the Democrats used after the November elections: "We didn't get our message out."
This ignores the more probable explanation that the message did get out, but the voters in their collective wisdom rejected the message.
